Mid-Cap / Micro-Cap Top Movers of the Week

The board added one FDA catalyst, one spectrum climber, and two very expensive reality checks.

$ATEX ( ▼ 2.47% )  : Anterix, jumped from #23 to #5: This week’s top dawg gained +8.5% as traders rewarded its utility-spectrum progress and support for SpaceX’s FCC proposal. Anterix ended June with $116M in cash and no debt. Risk: Only $9.6M of contracted proceeds is expected through the rest of fiscal 2027.

$ERAS ( ▼ 7.49% )  : Erasca, climbed from #20 to #3: Shares gained +5.6% after the FDA granted Fast Track status to ERAS-0015 for metastatic pancreatic cancer. The designation speeds discussions with regulators, not clinical proof. Risk: The drug remains in Phase 1, with expansion data not expected until the first half of 2027.

$REAX ( ▼ 10.75% )  : Real REMAX Group, new at #1: The +668% weekly jump is mostly mechanical. Real completed its RE/MAX combination Monday, then consolidated shares 10-for-1 before the combined company began trading Tuesday. Risk:Management must integrate 180,000 agents without losing people or promised efficiencies.

$AAOI ( ▼ 6.22% )  : Applied Optoelectronics, fell from #6 to #19: The optical favorite finished the week at -17.4% as traders focused on its $600M at-the-market capacity. That overwhelmed Q2 revenue of $191.9M and a strong production forecast. Risk:New share sales could keep diluting any rebound.

$AEHR ( ▼ 10.67% )  : Aehr Test Systems, held at #7: Holding its rank hid a rough week. Shares finished at -23.7% after management’s Jefferies meetings produced no fresh announcement to support a +301% YTD run. Risk: Fiscal 2027 guidance assumes revenue growth of +160% to +200%. That leaves little room for delays.

Next week’s swing factor: Sept. 1 ISM manufacturing and JOLTS could move rate expectations again, testing every speculative name here.
